Walney Holiday Cottages, Kingsand, Cornwall
Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty
The tidal creeks, sandy beaches, rolling fields and outstanding countryside make this forgotten corner of Cornwall a magical place to stay. Small villages hide at the heads of creeks, waiting to be discovered, whilst the stretch of coast fronting onto Whitsand Bay offers fantastic views and great walking along the South West Coast Path.
Sheltered by the headland of the Rame peninsula are the twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. Once the haunt of smugglers, they are now popular places to visit with a wide variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and galleries. A seasonal passenger ferry runs from Cawsand beach to Plymouth Barbican and a lovely walk through Mount Edgecumbe country park takes you to Cremyll with its all year round passenger ferry to near Plymouth’s Royal William Yard with its lively restaurants and bars.
